Beautiful Patination Enhance Bronze Surfaces
We endeavour to create patina surfaces which enhance every sculpture. With expert skill, Andy can create various effects of colour and tone by applying chemicals to the surface of the bronze as he heats it with a blow torch.
3D Printing at Bronzecast
Exciting new developments using the latest 3d printing technology are underway at Bronzecast.
We can now provide artists with the facilities to scan and rescale their artwork using our 3D printing facilities. Sculptures can be scanned and sent to us directly from the artist as a 3D file from which they can be rescaled and printed.
Meet some of the team
As the new year and decade is upon us we decided it would be a good opportunity to introduce you to some of the team. Appearing regularly in our Instagram-feed Andy and Neil are an integral part of the running of the ship here at Bronzecast and we thought it might be nice to let you know a bit more about them.
Irlam Station
After an 8 month crowd funding campaign and 2 months of casting we had the pleasure of unveiling this lifesize statue of an old man resting on a bench at Irlam Railway Station.
The work was originally created 40 years ago, by a then pupil of the local high school, Simon Law who entitled it ‘At the End of the Day’.
Memorial Cross
Earlier this year St Edward’s R.C. Church in Oldham commissioned us to create a lasting memorial to Canon Eugene Dolan who passed away in 2017 after 47 years of service to the parish.
Bronze Duck Pond for the Bridgewater Canal
Commissioned by Salford City Council as part of a £3.6 million Heritage Lottery funded project, this bronze duck pond was unveiled to the public early 2018. The purpose of this commission was to create an iconic piece that was very much inspired by the heritage of the Bridgewater Canal.
